Introduction. Snoop and the Professor: Beagles have Superpowers
Hi everyone. I am Snoop, the Beagle, and I belong to Mom and the Professor. I am 12 years old and I have big ears and short legs. I am black, white, and brown colored. There are certain things about me that you should know. First and foremost, I can smell everything and tell you what it is, who did it, and when. I can smell which of my neighborhood buddies has peed in my front yard or at any mailbox down the street. I also love to eat. While I do love bacon, my favorite food is cheese. I know exactly when Mom or the Professor opens the refrigerator and gets into the cheese drawer. According to the Professor, who thinks he’s an expert on everything, I am a social dog. I don’t know what that means but I can tell you that when I sleep at night, I sleep up in the bed with the Professor and Mom. I snuggle around their feet and lick their toes. When I take naps during the day, I always need to be near the Professor or Mom. It’s best if I have a paw touching them, it makes me feel better, more secure. I also like to meet all the other neighborhood dogs on our morning walks. I get to smell them, talk with them, see what they’ve been doing, and find out the best places to pee. If that is being social, then I guess I am a social dog!
Finally, I have superpowers! In the mornings, I can just sit up, stare at the Professor or Mom in bed, and use my secret beam of Beagle brain waves to send them a message. Within no time, one of them wakes up and takes me for a walk. I can do the same during the day or evening and one of them gets me a treat or water or food or anything I want. Because of my superpowers, I wear a red bandanna just like Superman wore a red cape. It shows the world that I have superpowers!
